FastestVPN believes in maintaining a strict no logs policy. Since we don’t collect data, there is nothing to provide. Here’s an insight to our transparency reports:
FastestVPN has received a large number of DMCA and copyright complaints over the course of 7 years from non-corporate and corporate firms. Most of these complaint reports pointed out illegal downloading and sharing of copyrighted material via FastestVPN IP addresses and provision of timestamps were noted. However, FastestVPN fails to comply with these complaints due to having no user-data stored.
Over the course of 7 years, FastestVPN received over 400+ complaints on the number of spam requests and activities induced via the FastestVPN IPs. Even the frequency and the duration of spamming was noted. However, FastestVPN could not track and trace the IP’s to the source, due to not logging any user information nor tracking them.
Dating back to 2016, FastestVPN has received multiple Subpoena requests from various court orders asking to hand in information on user data, some of which include names, addresses, email IDs and other verification information. This was to track back questionable activities from users, while connected to the FastestVPN servers. However, we failed to offer any relevant information due to our strict no data-retention policy.
Other than court orders, there are numerous police and law enforcement agencies that issue requests for FastestVPN user data and other personal information, some of which include IPs that might be linked to certain cases involved in malware attacks. We were unable to provide any relevant information due to our data-protection and no-logs laws.
