A magnificent T20 series between England and the West Indies gave cricket fans some truly thrilling T20 action, full of explosive batting, hot-headed bowling, and edge-of-the-seat finishes.<\/p>\n

From the very first game, Phil Salt had laid down the mark with a scorching century – the man was taking boundaries for granted, hitting 103 off a mere 54 deliveries. The West Indies bowlers would have been having nightmares after that rampage! Saqib Mahmood complemented it magnificently with the ball, taking key early blows. That first game had gone down to the very last delivery, England just managing to keep their cool in a nervous final over.<\/p>\n

But the West Indies were not going to lie down. Shai Hope and Evin Lewis launched into one brilliant innings, accumulating a partnership that had the whole stadium on their feet. Hope’s 50 was made off only 23 balls – pure carnage! – and Lewis kept pace with him shot for shot. At one point, it seemed like they could have chased down anything England might serve up. England tallied a huge 219, with Salt continuing to be in the runs and young Jacob Bethell playing the game of his life with an unbeaten 62 off a mere 29 balls. The West Indies’ run chase was a joy to watch – Hope firing once more, boundaries coming freely, the momentum ebbing and flowing. When Lewis exited, you could sense the game turning, but the West Indies managed to find a way back home with five wickets remaining. The crowd went completely wild!<\/p>\n

At the end of it all, this series had it all as a cricket fan. Massive scores, scintillating individual performances, and games that could have gone either way until the last moment.
